Construction of Big Pond - 2005
Here is our fourth attempt at a pond....
This is my cheap way of building an expensive pond -
It was a hot day - so figured we might as well enjoy it -
as it will be a few weeks before we move
the Koi over.....

Because our water table is low...
We used Cobble Stone in the bottom -
that way I dont have to worry about the
liner floating.....
Also - no sharp rocks anywhere - The Edging is my creation - to keep it in place without any sort of edge - At the end I have an over flow so I can drop the water quickly for spawning or when I salt - It is about Six Thousand Gallons -
